For me there is nothing finer than a beautiful sunny day in May when I can sit outside and people watch! Since I live by two stores and a church there is always a lot of people action. A year ago thanks to Covid there wasn’t as much activity but today it’s back.
When I’m watching people there are several kinds of folks out there. The ones who are dead set on going to the store and shopping. No frills, no conversation, just pick up what you need and get on to the next task. Then there are those who make the shopping experience a chance to socialize. They run into friends and acquaintances and spend a lot of time socializing! They are the ones that are always ahead of you in line when you are in a hurry. It’s great though to see all the folks out and about talking and having a good time.
My favorite folks are those heading to and from the church across the street. 99% of them are happy and greet each other with great affection. They also spend a lot of time after the services talking and exchanging pleasantries.
So today I’m enjoying the wonderful world of people watching and while Waldport isn’t the biggest place in the world, it’s a great place to watch people. Enjoy!
